Steven Putnam


A Cattleman and full time Farmer, Steven owns and operates Whisperwood Farm, and has extensive experience managing some of the premier estates, historical properties, and equestrian properties in the Hunt Country.  Steven is a sitting board member of the Loudoun County Farm Bureau and a board member and regular contributor to several wildlife management and conservation programs in Virginia, He provides Fieldcraft with leadership, sound environmental expertise, and excellence in animal husbandry.

Walt Hasser


Walt is a veteran of the US Marine Corps with an extensive background in Organizational Leadership.  He has implemented and led International site management and security projects, and specializes in high value, remote area and critical infrastructure defense. Walt owns Active Security Consulting, a Washington DC based security integration firm. Walt's experience in business and operational management enables Fieldcraft with top-notch structural administration and customer service capabilities.


Nick Greenwell

Managing Partner

In addition to his intensive, lifelong career in the equine and agricultural communities, Nick brings the knowledge gained from a formal education in Animal and Equine Sciences from the University of Maryland to our customers.  Most importantly Nick extends Fieldcraft's fundamental values of commitment to stewardship, conservation, and animal husbandry.  In addition to leading business development and customer relations, Nick is Fieldcraft's  designated equine services consultant.
